Since we all only get 24 hours in the day (less if you count sleep!), let's not waste a moment. This is where we promise to keep it short and sweet. What I like to call:
The Five Minute Take
For us, sustainable is not just a buzz word but a way of life. We're not perfect by any means but selecting materials which are reusable is important to us and this includes the way we package our flowers. Plus, I love nothing more than a two for one... a double dip if you will. That's why our vases from the market can be repurposed in many ways but our favorite way to use it? As a dip dish!
One of our favorite family traditions is a carry over from my own childhood- what we call Snack Night. We make our favorite snacks, cozy up together on the couch and watch a movie (lately, we've been into 90s throwbacks). One big hit in our snack night rotation is a smoky ranch inspired dip which pairs well with veggies and ruffle chips. So after the flowers have faded, feel free to try this dip dish or fill it with your own favorite recipe. But we definitely encourage you to reuse it!
The Wild Veggie Dip (adopted from Natasha's Kitchen):
Ingredients
1/2 cup greek yogurt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp dried garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp of smoked paprika
Squeeze of half lemon
Instructions
Mix all ingredients.
Consume with veggies and ruffle chips.
I love it when it's simple. Even better when it's delicious.
Enjoy,
Chelsea
